I listened to part of Dreams Underfoot last year for the challenge, but the library audio copy had some really bad disks so I finally gave up and decided I need to just get the book for myself and actually read it. Kailana and I are going to read The Very Best of Charles de Lint for the challenge. I’m so looking forward to just holding that gorgeous book in my hand when I read it. I’ve heard great things about Shades of Milk and Honey and I’ve read a few of her short stories and enjoyed them.

Thanks for joining in. Even when it is less of a ‘challenge’ because it is a favorite genre, I still appreciate the participation.

I was thinking earlier today I should read Dreams Underfoot. I also hope to read The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms very soon! I haven’t started that series by Rachel Caine either because I am trying to finish the Morganville Vampire one, first. I am like 2 or 3 behind at the moment.

So, really, all I can actually recommend is Howl’s Moving Castle.

Start with Howl’s! And I’m not saying that just because it’s the only one I’ve read

I want to read many of those myself, especially The Hundred Thousand Kingdoms and Shades of Milk and Honey.
