What’s the lightest, most “fluff” kind of book you’ve read recently?
While I was in the car on the way to Cornwall, I read What Happens in London by Julia Quinn and I think that has to be my answer. It was such a fun, light, fast read that it enabled me to ignore all the noise involved in traveling and enjoy myself. It even had me laughing a few times, which prompted curious looks from everyone in the car with me.
Speaking of Cornwall, here are a couple shots of the ocean from the very edge, near Land’s End:
Nice pics! Looks like it was a great drive.
Sounds like a good book to try. Here’s my BTT response.
Great pictures btw
Love the pictures! I always like lighter, escapist reads while on vacation.
What does happen in London? Or Cornwall for that matter!?
Like the photos!
Booking through recent fluff
I love the photos! I wish I had gotten down there, but maybe on my next trip…
Drool! I would love to visit Cornwall! (I’d be happy just to live near water, but that’s besides the point…)
Great pictures!
I love the pictures.
I haven’t read anything by Julia Quinn yet, but I keep seeing her name pop up everywhere! I greatly value your opinions on romance (and lots of other things!) — and I definitely need a “fluff” book after reading so much heavy stuff lately. Plus, London? I’ll look for it.
Love the photos, too — they’d make a great desktop background!
Now I wish I could go to Cornwall!
That first picture is so lovely – beautiful light!
Looks like a beautiful place. I haven’t had a fluffy read in a long time, and I think one is probably due by now!
That book is super-super light reading. It was a little too fluffy for me, to be honest. But it was still nice to read a Julia Quinn book by Julia Quinn instead of someone else. *coughgaelenfoleycough*
