I have a copy of Across the Nightingale Floor in my bookshelf, but haven't read it yet. I hope it's good and I can't wait for your review! I would vote for Slammerkin, it's an excellent book.

Love Walked In is a really quick read if you want to get off to a quick start. I haven't read any of the others, but I did pick up Uglies from my library and got a few pages into it. I just haven't been able to find the time to sit down and actually read it.
