Looking in the paper today it seems that the job section has drammatically decreased and of course the West Midlands is taking it in the neck. Good luck finding a decent job, have you thought about temping just for now to rake in a bit of cash?

I really enjoyed ‘Burning Bright’ but then I’m a big fan of Chevalier and Blake (in fact there wasn’t really enough dircet contact with William Blake in this book for me).

I recently finished Girl With A Pearl Earring by Chevalier. I cant decide if I really like a author based on one book , so I would want to read her other books. Your other books look equally good. My mom loaned me Touch the Dark and really loved it. I haven’t read it, though.

I haven't finished any of these, but I did attempt Burning Bright on audio. Chevalier is also hit or miss for me, and this one was a miss. The premise was great, but for whatever reason, I just couldn't sink into the story. I hope you have better luck! .-= Andi´s last blog ..Birthday Bliss! =-.

Chevalier is hit and miss, this one was a miss, in fact I think I didn’t finish it. I also find Susan Vreeland who strikes me as similar is also hit and miss.

I went through a period of unemployment too (did lots of cooking from scratch during that time) and as I look back, I spent so much time worrying about getting a job, I hardly enjoyed the opportunity of temporarily not working. Of course, it always helps to be looking back instead of being in the moment, but I hope you do get some pleasure out of what I'm sure will be only a temporary situation.
