Your desk is actually really organized, I think. You have books in piles, so that’s pretty good. When I was writing my MA thesis, my mom came into my room once (something she usually didn’t do, because I tend to get snappish when I’m in the middle of paper writing) and said, “Tasha, the books are getting out of control.” I think she was planning a book intervention. I don’t know how I’m going to keep everything organized once (if) I start my doctorate. =/

Thanks for sharing your pictures! Ok, I have to say that pipe situation must be really annoying, especially considering it looks like it's just at the right level that you "could" put your feet up on it, but wouldn't since it's hot! I guess you could in the winter to warm cold toes??? Love the piles of books...even though I cringed a little when I saw the academic stuff. Definitely took me back! Does your "office" have any windows? I'm thinking of knocking down my cube wall to open up some space. Fortunately, it stays cool in my area at work. The heat outside is unbearable though. 90+ degrees in the middle of June, and it's not even August yet.
