best of luck with the dissertation. It’s one hell of a tricky subject, the records run out very quickly and all else is supposition and conjecture! The more who write about the Woodvilles in a Good Light the better, as far as I am concerned!

Congrats on getting your dissertation proposal submitted! I can’t even imagine all of the work that you are going to have to do for your dissertation, but a trip to London would be awesome! The only things I know about Richard III come from Shakespeare’s play.

I think your dissertation sounds fascinating, especially in light of your thesis. It's a great combination. I was hoping to read The Reincarnationist along with Amy and Marcia too, but it doesn't look like I will be able to, after all. I had hoped to get more reading done this past week than I did. I take a break from blogging and being online so much and I hardly read at all! What is with that? Oh well. I am excited about the next three books I plan to read though, which is always a good sign. I have just bought 'The Founding' but it will have to wait on my pile for a while as there are other books firsty, 'Indescretions of a Queen' for the Jean Plaidy reading group and I'm dying to start 'Wolf Hall' by Hilary Mantel, as you like history I think you'll like the latter. Your work sounds awesome, Meghan. But I can definitely see how knowing so much about it would take the enjoyment away from fiction…you just can’t help spotting all the errors!
