This was a lovely post (even if it did make me want to buy books). Do you think W H Smith is just getting worse and worse for books? I mean I know that books are only part of their business, but the stock is kind of ridiculous (and at least in ours 50% is chick0lit, I like a bit of chick-lit but I also value diverse shelves).

I rejoined the book buying world the last two months because of the poor book economy. Now I will probably hibernate again for a bit because I will never read everything I have bought so far! lol

I also am picky about where I spend my money where books are concerned. There are so many books that I want to buy, and lot of them can’t be found at the one brick and mortar in my town, which leaves me to have to do a lot of online shopping, but I am finding that now more than ever I an trying to support the smaller retailers who can give me what I want for a reasonable price. I am not afraid to pay full price for a book when it’s something I really want, and I am glad that you are now able to do this too!
