I was glad to see on Twitter that you arrived safetly. When I travel, I like to bring a wide assortment of books, but for the plane ride part of it, I always go light, light and maybe even lighter. Just pure fun stuff, quick and easy reads. I don’t think I would be able to tackle a serious read on the plane!

I had a mild panic attack reading that sentence! LOL… okay, maybe I’m a little too addicted to the computer.

Well, travelling by plane would be okay for reading. I can no longer read and ride in anything that you can sense the motion without getting sick (darn vertigo). I think I’d bring a variety of things for that kind of trip. A manga, a serious novel, a light read and maybe a short story book. I’d also bring my MP3 player, as I can’t stand to just sit and read.

If I’m on a bus or in a car, I’ll bring both light a serious reads, but in a plane I’ll bring mostly light stuff since flying scares me a lot. Last time I brought “Postmortem” by Patricia Cornwell, and even though it’s a mystery, it was really “technical” and I had a hard time concentrating.
