Given the circumstances I think you did fantastic! I didn’t realize you weren’t native to the UK?

The only one on your read list that I’ve also read is Wintergirls (actually listened) and found it to be a powerful little book. In terms of your other list, the only one I’ve read is The Color Purple but it’s fantastic. I have Dreams Underfoot on the shelf but haven’t gotten to it yet.

I think both SHADES OF MILK AND HONEY and DREAMS UNDERFOOT will be excellent readathon books. The first reads very quickly, while the second is easy to sneak in in and around other books.

I am looking forward to Dreams Underfoot! Well, I am like halfway finished, but I sort of stalled… I feel like I say that a lot! I am trying to finish books I have on the go, so it will be one of my priorities.

You’ve had a lot going on, so I can see why you’re reading would be down, but I think 14 books is a lot for someone who works full time. You will love The Color Purple!
