I have read so many good things about this book lately, and just ordered myself a copy. I am not that familiar with the story of Arthur and haven't read any of the legends, but this book looked really interesting to me, and I can't wait to get a chance to read it. I am glad that you enjoyed it, and I will be interested in seeing what the other bloggers on the tour think about it.

I like this trilogy as well, though in some ways I'm dreading reading the final book because we know it's all going to end in tragedy.

I love how she works in things that would be the basis for later romanticizing, like in The Kingmaking when she had Arthur take that supposedly mythical sword from the Saex whose name meant something like 'stone.'

I do enjoy Arthurian tales, but I tend to be a fan of the romanticized version. So I might have to think about trying this series.
