Heh, I'm not participating in the challenge, but I probably should be since I just finished reviewing the 7th book! I find it interesting that you comment that Sookie herself is still an attraction for you in the series, because for me in this book I'm really starting to dislike her--some of the things she believes, choices she makes, etc.... I signed up for the challenge but didn't even start with the first book. I have no.1 & 2 on my shelf but I keep somehow passing them by.
