My mother is a big Gypsy Rose Lee fan. She saw her on TV when she was little; I guess she was really funny. I really don’t like the movie about her, though.

I had high hopes for this book. I’ve been fascinated by Gypsy Rose Lee ever since I saw a movie about her years ago. Your review is not the first I’ve seen that says the book doesn’t live up to its potential.

I have also been fascinated by this book, and although it does skip around quite a lot, I think it would be something that I would really like. I don’t know much about Gypsy Rose, but she sounds like a very interesting person! Thanks for the great review!
