I adored The Sense of an Ending, and this one is now near the top of my list! I understand his novels are quite different from one another, but I loved his writing so much, I’m eager to see what his other books will be like!

I really like this book! It was actually one of the first ARCs I ever received, so it holds a special place in my heart, and it was great that I enjoyed it so much, too! I also loved how it handled injustice.

This sounds like a great read! I will definitely be adding this to my tbr list. I am very eager to read more about this author and his famous character. Have recently been Sherlock obsessed what with the film and tv series to be watching

I haven’t read any of his books but I certainly like your review and will remember this book as well as the one that won the Booker Prize.

I loved this one too! Unfortunately it is very differenct to Sense of an Ending (which I didn’t like at all) but I’ve heard that several of his earlier books are as good as this one so I’m going to work my way through them.

I have this one!! I haven’t read it yet, but now you’ve made me really eager to pull it out of the stack and get to it. I love that it’s based on a real life story, and that it includes real letters. It sounds fascinating to me. This was a terrific review, and I am really eager to get started with it now! Thanks for sharing this!
