Great review! I want to read this one too. I think it's nice to hear different point of views on it. Cinderella is still one of my favorite stories, too, and I usually enjoy fairy tales retelling. I don’t know if this is the book for me–I keep hearing very mixed reviews about it. I am a fan of Cinderella stories, though. When I was in middle school my English teacher even nicknamed Cinderella; so I’ll probably pick this book up just because of that.

I really want to read this book and put it on my wish list a few weeks ago. I'm really glad that you had such a positive reaction to the story and that you enjoyed it so much. Oh boy -- I'm so glad to read this review. I like fairy tale retellings and I so respect Nymeth that I had put this aside for now. But I also respect you, so now it's going back on my list.
