Sounds interesting and important. If you don’t have a solid background in science and aren’t familiar with statistics, it’s so easy to be misled.

I had to take an ethics training course over a weekend as part of my TA award, which almost entirely geared toward the sciences and working/doing experiments in a lab. The central message of the entire training was keeping your head down, doing what your prof says, and NOT reporting ethics violations.

Really makes a person wonder what goes on in research labs on a regular basis.

I find the topic of this book fascinating and the fact that it goes to such great lengths to debunk all the pseudoscience very interesting. I think that this is something that I’d like to read, and that would probably really educate me. Thanks for this clear and excellent review. This is one I am going to check out!

Yes! This is one of those books I really wish everyone would read, and there aren’t many I’d say that about.
