Blackout was such a fun read, and I liked All Clear too! When I finished Blackout I dropped everything and drove to the nearest library that had a copy of All Clear (thankfully just a few miles away).

While I didn’t LOVE Doomsday Book when I read it last year with Marg, I do still want to read more Willis because she can be both SO WITTY and also heart-breaking.

These are both books that I really want to read, and have heard nothing but good things about. I like how you mention how the attitudes of the team changes as they discover that they aren’t in as much control as they thought they were. Thanks for the excellent review today. I can’t wait to start with these, and you are right, it’s nice to know that I won’t be left hanging for a year!!

I need to buy these two and read them. I adore Connie Willis and collect her books. Have you read To Say Nothing of the Dog? I actually liked iit a bit more than Doomsday Book.
