I always have a hard time reviewing books in a series. I sometimes stay away from books that have multiple sequels, but I am planning on changing that in the future. There is just so much I miss out on when I stay away from them. I hadn’t heard of this series, but it looks like it would be of interest to me, so I will be exploring more about it.

I love this series. I haven’t read Bone Crossed, but my favorite is actually Iron Kissed.

I know my reviews of series books can be pretty short. I prefer, if it’s at all possible, to review a series all at once–or to review the first book and then review the rest of the series separately. With series that are in-progress, though, that’s pretty difficult.

I think Blood Bound is my favorite of the series so far (I haven’t haven’t read Bone Crossed yet). I heart the vampires, and Stephen is my favorite character.

It sounds good! I started reading it right after reading Mooncalled, but then I wasn’t in the mood for urban fantasy and decided to wait. I should really read it now.
I agree that reviewing books in series is more difficult if you don’t want to spoil it! Bit I still enjoy getting a more general impression of the book.

I know I keep saying it, but I really must start this series. I’ve been wanting to for so long and the more I hear about the books the more guilty I feel for not yet having done so. LOL I am glad the series continues to be good.

I have read any of these yet. I love series and I’m discovering that urban fantasy is a great genre. I’m putting Briggs on the list. I wonder if I can get these in audio.

Reviews of series books can be problematic. In general, I don’t like spoilers in reviews and it’s very hard to avoid them in, say, the third book in a series. I often preface such reviews with a warning that they could contain series spoilers for people who have not yet read the first book.

I enjoyed ‘Blood Bound’ even more than ‘Iron Kissed’. I have ‘Iron Kissed’ but I’m trying to space the books so that I don’t OD on Briggs’s world-building.
