I am with Kathy. I like the idea, but I am not crazy about romance novels to begin with.

I like the idea of the Chinese woman immigration story, but not the predictable romance, so I probably won’t read this one.

I have kind of avoided Carina Press for the very same reasons that you mention, but hearing how well this book went for you makes me want to reconsider. This story actually sounds quite good, and like something I would enjoy reading. Thanks for the wonderful review!
