This does look like a good read. I read The Lost Memoirs of Jane Austen fairly recently and enjoyed it. I generally like ‘sequels’ and reimaginings, and I love historical fiction about my favorite authors, so this sounds right up my alley!

I, too, tend to avoid “sequels” to classic literature (think ‘Scarlet’ or ‘Rhett Butler’s People’…ugh). But I think I’ll add this one to my list now. I probably would have missed this if not for your review, so thanks!

I got this book too. I’m a little disappointed (due to your review) about Cassandra, but still can’t wait to get to it!
