I do have this, but I am not really very excited about it. I liked the setting for those two. They explored the war and what it was like living through it. But then the third book is after the war and I found it so, well, pointless and have never finished it.

I didn’t like The Bronze Horseman at all really. It’s one of the most…puzzling books to me how many people I like and respect LOVE it when I really think it’s sort of awful? I don’t think the characterization issues are any better but it is a steamy romance.
