It sounds as though there were several elements in this book that just really got under your skin, and you wrote your review in a way that made me understand exactly why. I think that the premise of this book sounds very exciting ( especially because I love to read about harems) but I really doubt I would ever read this one after reading about some of the problems you had with it. Sorry to hear that this book was so disappointing.

I TOTALLY AGREE. You said it much better than I could have, though (I never reviewed this book because I just couldn’t finish it). Zoe–uhg! What in the world was Chase thinking?

I think it’s tragic that this is the first Chase book you’ve read (it is, right?) and now you don’t want to read any more of her books. They are really good, especially the earlier ones. Trust me.
