I have this from Netgalley and was *really* interested in it, now I’m dying to read it. I just need to finish CHASING APHRODITE, which I think you also recommended to me. It is really interesting, but I’m a little stalled on it.

That sounds fantastic! I like history that takes an anthropological perspective.
