While I didn't love this book, I certainly found it a worthwhile read. I, too, was drawn to the archaeological aspects of it, and it was nice to read a book dealing with the politics of the region. What I didn't like: The cover called it a thriller, and it's just not. I agree, some of the characters: Definitely not likable! Word Lily’s last blog post..Words from my reading
