I am so excited at the prospect of a new standalone Crusie – no collaborations, just Crusie. So excited in fact that I forgot to add it to my library request list, but that will be rectified asap because I have really liked her books before.

Kind of sounds like a modern take on Turn of the Screw. Interesting and definately more appealing to me than a standard contemporary romance, is it weird that sometimes I like those romances rife with deliberately odd details like the heroine is a suba diver who studies sea urchins, or the hero is barrista intent on winning the local coffee contest? Huanted house romance sounds right for me.

Oh and I’ll be singing ‘Maybe This Time’ in my head for about two weeks now Love that song, but it worms its way into your brain.

So glad you liked this one — I’m in the middle of it, too, and definitely am enjoying it. I just need more time to hunker down and finish it… story of my life. So far, the kids are my favorite part! So funny and creepy. Alice is just… interesting.
