Though these weren't favorites in the series, I do have to admit that they sound very intriguing, especially the business about the ovaries and embryos. I have had my eye on these books since reading your first review, and know that I am going to have to do some shopping soon, as I can't get them off my mind! Great review today!

You're right, these aren't the best books in the series, but they're still fun, and there are a lot of important things that happen here that have repercussions later on in the series. Plus: The kitten tree! Ivan! The newts! I'm sort of sad we didn't get more of Ethan and the Athosians, he's fun, and there's so much dramatic depth in that society to be explored.

What book(s) are up next for you?
