Briggs is one of my favorite writers! I liked Blood Bound even more than this one (because it had more vampires in it, I admit), so I think you’ll enjoy that one, too.

I’m right in the middle of this one, and I LOVE it! I do find that Mercy does a lot of explaining, but I found it nicely paced in between the action scenes. And I love Mercy too : it is so great to have a main character who can speak for herself but also knows when it’s better to keep it shut!
