Oh, I am sorry to hear this book wasn't as good as some of his other longer novels are. This is the first review of this book that I have seen, and I am grateful for your opinion on it. I am not sure if I will pick this one up based on your review. I’ve picked this book up at the bookstore, then I’ve put it down, then I picked it up, etc. Very glad for your review, now I’ll wait to borrow it.

Oh, I'm sad it was disappointing especially as I have recently gotten into short stories! I will probably look for this one to borrow, not buy. I thought he'd excel at short stories as his writing is so sparse, anyway. Sad! .-= Aarti´s last blog ..A great find! =-.

Hmmm…I’ve loved the three Ishiguro novels that I’ve read, so maybe I’ll keep reading those and only read this one when there’s nothing else left.
