Oh, I am sorry to hear this book wasn’t as good as some of his other longer novels are. This is the first review of this book that I have seen, and I am grateful for your opinion on it. I am not sure if I will pick this one up based on your review. I still have a few others by Ishiguro in my stack that I haven’t read yet, so maybe I will just stick with those.

I’ve picked this book up at the bookstore, then I’ve put it down, then I picked it up, etc. Very glad for your review, now I’ll wait to borrow it.

Oh, I’m sad it was disappointing especially as I have recently gotten into short stories! I will probably look for this one to borrow, not buy. I thought he’d excel at short stories as his writing is so sparse, anyway. Sad!

Hmmm…I’ve loved the three Ishiguro novels that I’ve read, so maybe I’ll keep reading those and only read this one when there’s nothing else left.

I have only read “Never let me go” and liked it, but I’m not a fan of short stories, so I guess I’ll skip this one – or at least, I’ll wait to read it until I read the other books. Great review though!

I’m not a huge short story fan anyway, so I doubt I’d pick this. I was one of the few people who did not really like Remains of the Day.
