I enjoyed this anthology, but for some reason haven’t picked up any others by the authors, except the Mercedes series by Briggs.

I love anything Patricia Briggs writes, and her Anna and Charles series looks like a winner Wilks isn’t bad though I stopped after book 2 in her series– she started focusing on characters that weren’t the main focus in books 1 and 2 and I wasn’t crazy about it. Chance I couldn’t get into, though this makes me reconsider her. Sunny I never tried, but like you I’m not a fan of erotic romance, so I think I’ll skip her (him?).

I think when Patricia Briggs first wrote that novella it was just supposed to be that, but someone liked it in power and next thing it was a series... That's my understanding, anyways. Not that my sentence structure is that great... .-= Kailana´s last blog ..Wonderland by Tommy Kovac =-.

I don't read much urban fantasy, so I had not yet heard of this book, but after reading your review I am really intrigued. I have put it on my wish list and am going to think about grabbing a copy soon. I like that this is sort of a starting point for someone who hasn't been exposed much to these types of books and that I can read each story and decide if I want to go further into each series.
