Wow, I bet I’d really like this one. I like the two time periods and I like the exploration of middle age through a woman’s point of view.

I feel like all of the books I have been reading lately have been about marriages falling apart. This sounds really good but I don’t know if I can take another one right now in this vein.

Middle age can be a tough part of life and it sounds like this book explores some of the reasons. It sounds pretty appealing to me.

Normally, I try to stay away from books that deal with infidelity, but something about the intricacies of this story catches my attention and has me very intrigued. It might be the way that the protagonist is trying not to fall into the same trap as her mother, yet does so anyway. Or it might be the very emotional repercussions that happen because of the infidelity. Whatever it is, I think that this is a book that I really would like to read, and I enjoyed your very insightful review on it.

This doesn’t call to me right away as something that I would pick up but it looks interesting enough that I’ll probably keep it on the back burner. The cover is just beautiful, too.
