I have heard good things about this book I did try a book by her once but it was rather meh. Still can’t judge an author of an one old book

I saw LC had a new book coming out, but for some reason had no desire to buy it. I think I’m suffering from some sort of romance exhaustion (is that possible???). However, this does like it could be a good read. Maybe I’ll see if I can get it from the library or something…

I have not read many romances, but the ones that you review always seem to entice me. I had always thought that I was not a romance reader, but I have come to discover that when it is done well, I actually do like that element in my books. I think I might like this one, and the bit about the fashion intrigues me. Thanks for this lovely review. It was a pleasure to read.

I love it when romances focus on an “everyday” person instead of a duke or duchess, especially when they’re well thought-out and somewhat researched. A heroine who’s a dressmaker sounds really intriguing, even if it sounds like she worked her way into society as a part of her trade. I’ll have to see if I can find this one at the library. Thanks for the review!
