I was a bit disappointed in this one. I do like Balogh’s writing, but she has a habit of filling her books with characters from earlier books. I do love this, but only in moderation.

It sounds like you really loved this book! I am not really a big fan of romance novels, but from the way you describe it, there isn't much in it that would annoy me. I'm not big into romance because they are usually predictable. On the other hand the characters in this one have gotten my attention. BTW: I'm reading A Kiss of Shadows by Laurell K. Hamilton: a sexy urban fantasy that is really interesting, so far. Thought I'd mention it. My review will be up in a week or so.
