I really enjoyed this one, too, and read most of it while sitting in a cafe drinking chai. Before I realized it, I’d read half the book — and that’s definitely a great feeling! Even with all the dangerous elements going on, the setting was much of the fun for me. Bora-Bora sounded amazing.

This one goes on my list. Thank you for the review! I have read one other book set on Bora Bora, the featherlight, chicklit-romancey The Paradise Room by Belina Jones, but since the plot revolved around a triangle drama that made me feel sorry for everyone involved the breezy tone did not work for me at all. The Bungalow, on the other hand, sounds like the best sort of relaxing, enjoyable read.

I am planning to read this in the next couple of weeks. I did almost start it yesterday but then realised that I had a library book that I need to read asap so I am reading that instead.

I am always amazed by people who are able to zip through entire novels in the course of one afternoon. I have rarely been able to do that- I must just read so much slower than other people! That said, so glad this book zipped by so quickly for you- sounds great for curling up on the couch one evening

Sounds like a perfect holiday read, will have to keep it in mind for next year when I’m hoping to spend a relaxing week in the sun in Majorca.

I would love to escape to a lush tropical island right about now, but I will settle for reading about it instead! This sounds like a fun book to escape all the holiday stress with, and I will be looking for it. Great review!
