Great review! This book sounds like it has a really unusual plot and a lot of gripping action in it, and I am very curious about it. Though it is a bit gritty, I think it sounds really interesting, and I am glad you ended up liking it. My emphasis in school is social justice issues just like the ones described in this book. And it's so true: there are so many systemic problems that perpetuate injustices and distorted ways of thinking in our society. I could rant on and on about these problems and the horrible results they have on innocent people, but I'll spare you. You made it sound good in spite of the crude and the violence stuff, but I don’t think I’d seek it out because of those things. On the positive side, Quattro Formaggi sounds like a pizza to me….
