I love books set during this time, especially when they feature characters who act outside of the terrible English society that was set up there. And how satisfyingly grr making to have a fiance/villian how thinks that by surviving in a fishing boat his fiance has made herself unmarriageable – she should ahve just gracefully died I guess, it’s what all the best ladies in society are doing.

I did something very unusual with Meredith Duran. Even though I have never read any of her books, I purchased all of them. Normally an author has to have quite a few good reads before I make them an autobuy. Now I should really read one to make sure that I really do like them enough to keep on buying!
