I am not sure if this would be a book I would enjoy, but I'd bet that my husband and son would love it. I have a problem with books set on ships as well, and I don't see that changing anytime soon! I’m not a ship-book person either. I’m reading SEA OF POPPIES right now, which is largely on a ship. OMG. all that seadog speak is enough to drive you batty.

I also really can't stand books that take place on ships. I learned this lesson really well with an assignment at Brandeis.....Poe's Arthur Gordon Pym of Nantucket....oy. Oddly, I like movies that take place on ships though. .-= Amanda´s last blog ..Movie Review: Being John Malkovich (1999) =-.
