I am not sure if this would be a book I would enjoy, but I'd bet that my husband and son would love it. I have a problem with books set on ships as well, and I don't see that changing anytime soon! I will keep this book in mind for them though!

I actually like books that take place on board ships--or at least, I can't remember any book that didn't like for that reason. I hate books set in castles, though.

I've found that the second books tend to be the worst in a series, so hopefully things will pick back up in book 3.
