This sounds like a book that could go very hit or miss for me, so I think I’ll try and borrow it instead of buy it. The cover looks a bit *too* much like the Luxe novels for my tastes.

I’m really glad you enjoyed this one, as I have it coming in the mail (sadly the post here is on strike, so I have NO idea when it will arrive hopefully soon!) I love steampunk settings, and I don’t mind a bit of predictability if the rest is entertaining!

This book sounds like a lot of fun, and I haven’t read much steampunk targeted at the YA set. I like what you had to say about it, and even though it wasn’t perfect, it sounds like it was still a great read. This one may just have to go on my list. Great review!
