I did cave and buy a copy of this book. It's sitting in my mailbox now and I hope to pick it up this afternoon. I am glad you liked it so much, Meghan. It's just a fascinating story--sad too. I can't wait to read it.

Wow! This does indeed sound like a wonderful and powerful read. I also think that it's sad that Henrietta never received any compensation or recognition for the cells they took from her. And considering that her cells have cured many diseases, she should at least be acknowledged publicly. I am so excited to read this book, and get all the facts. Wonderful review! I am so glad that the book impressed you!!
