I’ve wanted to read this book since I first read about it. Reading your terrific review further piques my interest in it. I’ve read several of Hemingway’s novels but don’t know that much about his life except that he wasn’t always the easiest man to cope with! Although this is fiction, I know the author researched Hemingway and Hadley and this story about their marriage sounds fascinating!

I’m about 3/4 of the way through the audiobook version of this right now and I am really enjoying it. I love your cover and postcards that you got with it! So adorable!

I have to agree with Tasha – I can’t imagine being married to Hemingway either. And the time and money thing, too. But this does sound like quite an interesting book.

I cannot even imagine being married to Ernest Hemingway; I’d probably punch him on a daily basis. And I don’t mean that as a double-entendre, get your mind out of the gutter.

It always seems like you either have plenty of time, but no money, or plenty of money but no time. Oh cruel irony.

I also have not read much Hemingway, but have this book and am really anxious about reading it. I think it tells a wonderfully interesting story, and I would really love to get the different perspective on Hemingway and Hadley. Thanks for the great review!

Oh, wow, wow, WOW! This looks incredible! I’ve read almost everything that has been written about or by Hemingway and his fellow ex-patriots but I had no idea that this was coming out. How incredible; thank you so much for the review!
