I love this book too. I think Turner made a very good choice in switching to third person. She shifts things around again with THE KING OF ATTOLIA, (which, believe it or not, is even better), and I'm wondering if she'll follow the same pattern with A CONSPIRACY OF KINGS. .-= Memory´s last blog ..Television: Battlestar Galactica, Season 2.0 =-.

Yay! I agree with a bazillion percent. This is such a gem of a book. I love your point about how the story isn't told from Gen's perspective because he's not the singular central character anymore. In the third book, it feels like we're even farther removed from Gen's character than in the second--which made me kind of sad. .-= heidenkind´s last blog ..The Divine Jane =-.
