Man, I swear that I am the only person in the world who does not love this series. I should totally love it, but I read this one and the next and they just didn’t work. Clearly there’s something wrong with me.

I really enjoy this series! I disagree that the first one is the least of them. I think they're all pretty strong. I particularly liked the first because it was told in first person. Yay! I’m so glad you liked it. I loved what you said about how after the three men travel together, they start to see each other as people. That’s one of the things I loved about this novel, too, but I didn’t realize it until you said it.

This is a good book, but I read Queen of Attolia first–and I think The Thief does suffer in comparison to it, just because QoA is a-mazing.
