I’m glad to see your review. I have this on my ereader, but haven’t started it yet. Good to know it’s one that develops over the course of the book and is well worth it at the end.

I’ve seen this one around but hadn’t seen a review. To be honest the cover kind of freaked me out a bit but now that I see your review it sounds like it would actually be a book I might really like.

I like the bit about historical fiction set in unusual places. it got me thinking because most of it is set in places very familiar to us (through reading about it over and over again). This sounds different. Thanks for the review.

I don’t think I’ve ever been happy I’ve stuck with a book after I’ve wanted to give up on it. But there’s a first time for everything!

Sometimes I do end up sticking with books that I wasn’t initially drawn in by and it definitely can pay off, like it did with you. Love this cover!
