This one fell flat for me, too. I didn’t even finish it, now that I think about it. I was confused at the different POVs at the start of the book and felt like I didn’t understand how everyone was related to each other.

I think there are just too many issue for me; I’m sure I wouldn’t have finished it.

Just from your description alone, this book sounds crowded, and not like something I would like. I don’t like cluttered stories or books that feel overwhelming in character and plot, and it sounds like that’s exactly what this one is. Very balanced and thoughtful review. Thanks for sharing it so honestly.
