This book sounds atypical from those that I normally read, but the premise sounds like something I might enjoy. In the new year I am hoping to broaden the genres I read, so this will be going on my list. Like your other commenters so far, I haven't read anything by this author. I do like the sound of this book though. It's always interesting to read an author's backlist after reading something more current. Sometimes I like to start with an author's earlier works first so I can watch their progress over time.
