I’ll add my vote for Bel Canto! I’ve also read her *The Magician’s Assistant* which was well-done, but Bel Canto takes it all. I’m hoping to finish *Run* tonight …

I actually wasn’t such a fan of this book; I thought that Bel Canto was much better. I guess I just didn’t like all the political stuff…

I loved this book too! I read it a couple of weeks ago, but haven’t posted a review yet, in part because there’s just so much there. Really, you must read Bel Canto. I’ve only read Run and Bel Canto, but I’m definitely going to be reading the rest of Patchett’s oeuvre.
