I’ve also read the Pale Horseman, and that one drags a bit, but it really picks up near the end. The last part of it is great. I own the first two and will definitely get the next two in the series.

I was introduced to Cornwell by a friend of mine a few years back who suggested I read the Grail Quest series. If you haven’t read that one, I highly recommend it. Also, I hear his Arthurian series is one of his best; that one’s on my To Be Read pile.

Cornwell is probably my favorite author. His writing has influenced my own writing style a good bit.
