The Sunday Salon – July 13, 2008

I’m not reading much today, but if I was, I’d be reading Stealing Athena by Karen Essex.  I’m about 100 pages from the end and really enjoying it so far – this is the proper way to intertwine two storylines in historical fiction.  They play off each other very nicely and both are necessary for the plot as a whole.  On top of that, both storylines are interesting!  I’m really happy with it after the disappointment of The Aviary Gate, and I’m very grateful to Doubleday for sending this book to me.

This week has been a good one in terms of reading – I read roughly a book every day except for Saturday, and they were almost all good.  Lots of reviews coming up when I get the chance to write them.

That’s about all I have time for today – don’t forget that today is the last day to enter my giveaway of Surviving Ben’s Suicide here! I’ll be drawing a winner tomorrow morning. =) Have a nice week everyone!
