I felt much the same about this book, except I did abandon it after a hundred pages. I found the author’s strange syntax and awkward word choices WAY too difficult to wade through. I’d have liked to have joined in the discussion about it, but my opinions were all so strongly negative that I felt awkward doing so with the author involved.
