I’ll be at Virginia Beach, where my dad will be running a half marathon for the Leukemia and Lymphoma society. As some of you may know, my brother Matthew died in 2005 of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma at the age of 18. My dad is running in his memory, and he’s almost reached his goal of $20,000. If you have a little to spare, please consider donating at his website. Every little bit helps when it comes to finding better treatment and a cure.
And now back to our regularly scheduled book-related programming.
What a wonderful tribute to your brother. I grew up in the Tidewater area and haven’t been back there in years. I hope you have a great time.
Wow he’s raised a lot of money for a great cause. Good luck to him in VB.
“Team in Training” and the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society run a great program! Congratulations to your father for all the effort and the money he’s raising in your brother’s memory.
