I’d like to catch up on reviews, too. But for some reason, I just can’t seem to make myself sit down and write them.
I’ll be interested to see what you think about The American Wife – I’ve got that on my TBR stack for this summer, and I’ve heard very mixed reports about it. Laura Bush isn’t really one of my favorite people, but she’s certainly the best thing about George, so it should be interesting.

I usually write my reviews immediately after finishing the book. It’s easier that way, and I don’t forget to, either.

I have Power Makers on Mt. TBarc, I want to get to it, but it’s thick… I suppose I’ll read it while reading another. I thought I’d requested The Water Cooler Effect, but it never came, so I don’t know.

I’m way behind on reviews, too. I have at least three to write to catch up on. On the one hand, I don’t have to hurry to finish things but on the other it’ll take me longer to write each one because the books aren’t as fresh in my mind.

I agree – I have to discipline myself to write the review soon after finishing a book, or I get caught in the rhythm of my next book and don’t do justice to the first!

I try to “weave” fiction in between my non-fiction books as well, to change the pace and emotion of my reading time.

I am curious about American Wife. Will you write a review next week, or give us a brief overview when done? I know what you mean about sneaking in those books in between the ARCS. LOL
