Wow, quite a record for one year! I'd be satisfied with just half that number. I really wish I could make myself attack that TBR pile and stop buying new books, too, but I know that's never likely to happen. Happy New Year and Happy Reading!

Wow! 181 books. I'll make 110 I think, a bit down on my usual count, but there were some big ones in there!
Do you read crime Fiction? If so, you might be interested in participating in an activity I am running:

All the best for 2009

I tell myself that I'm not going to buy any more books, and that I'm going to get my TBR pile under control... but then I tell myself that BookMooch doesn't *really* count as buying, and that ARC looks really interesting, and if I get that one from the library, it's not like I'm buying it... and the TBR pile just keeps going.

If you manage to get yours down, figure out a way to bottle your willpower, because I'd buy it. :)

Newbie to Sunday Salon. 181 books is impressive. Good luck with just reading what you have next year. I don't think I could go without buying any books and just read what we have. It would be terribly difficult and I'd missing browsing in the stores.

Happy new year.
